Central and Eastern European Moot Court Competition

We are recruting for Central and Eastern European Moot Court Competition!
The Central and East European Moot competition (CEEMC) was founded in 1996 by the British Law Centre and simulates a preliminary reference from a fictional Member State of the European Union to the European Court of Justice.
The Central and East European Moot competition (CEEMC), involves teams of law students from a number of countries in Central and Eastern Europe who will compete against each other in the simulated forum of the Court of Justice to the European Union in Luxembourg. The competition is organised by the British Law Centres of the educational charity Juris Angliae Scientia Ltd and held under the auspices of the Court of Justice and the Centre for European Legal Studies of the University of Cambridge.
The winning price is visit of the Court of Justice of the EU and the University of Cambridge.
CEEMC 2018 will take place between 20-23rd April 2018 in Wroclaw, Poland.
The competition is open to all students, nationals of Central and East European states including southern states who have applied for entry or have recently entered the EU (specifically Turkey, Cyprus and Malta), who are enrolled on a course at a participating University or comprises a team of students currently studying at one university made up entirely of eligible nationals and:
• are not older than 30 years
• are not practising as a lawyer and
• have not previously participated in the oral rounds of this competition.
Although it is possible for any university (with participants who are nationals from the regions mentioned) to enter more than one team (of 3-4 members accompanied by one academic/ coach) in the written round of the competition, only one team per University may be selected to proceed to the oral rounds. The choice of team will be based upon the best written pleading submitted.
