ICC YAF Romania & Republica Moldova organises
Eastern perspectives on construction disputes during COVID and expert witnesses
27 May 2021
Join us for a thought-provoking conference discussing two of the most relevant topics for the international arbitration community today, from the perspective of Romania and Moldova. In the first panel, experienced practitioners will discuss the role which expert witnesses play in arbitration proceedings, the rules which apply to them and how arbitral tribunals asses the evidentiary weight of their testimonies and reports. The second panel will discuss a number of practical scenarios likely to arise in construction projects as a result of pandemic-related causes, and the remedies available at the disposal of the parties.
WHO SHOULD ATTEND?
Anyone interested in international arbitration and construction disputes in particular: Practicing lawyers; Arbitrators; Magistrates; Academics; Corporate counsel; In-house Counsels from Chambers; LLM and PhD students. The ICC YAF Conference is an ideal forum for young practitioners to exchange thoughts on international arbitration and to enrich their network in the region.
